Which chapters are most important in JEE Physics?
Mechanics and Electromagnetism carry the most weight and underpin the most other topics. Modern Physics is the best return per hour — a small syllabus with reliably straightforward questions.
Why do I understand Physics but still lose marks?
Usually because understanding a chapter and modelling a specific situation are different skills. Most lost marks trace back to the setup — a missing force, a wrong direction, an assumption that does not hold — rather than to the physics itself.
Is NCERT enough for JEE Physics?
For the syllabus boundaries and for Modern Physics, largely yes. For problem-solving at Main and especially Advanced level it is a starting point, because the difficulty gap between NCERT problems and JEE problems is substantial.
How do I get better at numerical problems?
By separating the two failure modes. If the setup is wrong, more numerical practice will not help — practise translating situations into diagrams. If the setup is right and the arithmetic fails, that is a discipline problem and it is fixable quickly.
How different is JEE Advanced Physics?
Considerably. Advanced questions typically combine two or three concepts in one problem and are far less forgiving of a memorised approach, which is why conceptual footing matters more there than anywhere else.
